Our story
AP Driving School started in 2019 by a local mom harrowed by the idea of her teen’s first driving lesson.
We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of teaching defensive driving techniques and developing self confident drivers. All of our instructors consider ourselves coaches and educators, with the passion and skill to bring our students to a place where they are heard and their needs are met, to emerge as confident and able new driver.
Our Coaches
All of our instructors are licensed by the State of NJ. But more importantly, we feel, is our goal to evaluate the individual student and their own unique learning style in order to implement appropriate teaching techniques in the car. With this approach, we can work with students ready to hit the road, as well as those students who may be reluctant and anxious.
